The Waltz
Song
Melody born from word is life.
I can hear the music of salvation
O the pleasure of lying under the sun,
I dedicate this poem to the poets
Best wishes to you, for a balanced and healthy life
Which may be the hardest thing to achieve in this world.
What a shame to feel constrained and frustrated
Crying out for help and yet forced to submit
Wondering, why life becomes only to die
Wandering, on foreign soil sowing seeds and sweat.
The path to freedom is allowed but mountainous
So I lay myself, another day called monotonous
Reminiscing the days gone by
In the days to come, I praise God only, fear God only
So I kneel in prayer every morn and night.
Waking up from bed and brushing my teeth,
Some days, such trivial lines fill the paper.
Some nights, carrying the burden of existence
My conscience losing sanity and faith.
A clueless poet, blessed with inspiration
My only wish is to see my innermost voice
Manifested in words that dance with joy.
My only mission is to be a witness of the word.
Melody born from word is life.
I can hear the music of salvation
O the pleasure of lying under the sun!
I dedicate this poem to the poets.
